As social media applications (e.g., Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, Reddit) permeate all aspects of our daily lives, there is growing interest in understanding how the data generated by these applications can be used to better understand the nature and impact of these changes.

With this in mind, we focus on applying Data Science methods to study human perceptions and behaviors in social media contexts. In addition, with the global proliferation and accessibility of data, there is a growing interest in understanding the social and individual implications of Data Science, particularly in the area of privacy and ethics - another novel area of focus for us.
